When thinking of February, I think pink. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with pink makeup looks! Get in the spirit for galentine’s, valentine’s, or February in general with these pink products. Whether you’re a full-face addict or a minimalistic-face lover, here are a few things to try out!
All in the Eyes
A simple or extravagant pink eyeshadow look can pull your makeup look together. One of my favorite palettes is probably one you already know, the Modern Renaissance
Palette. This pink palette is so versatile and perfect for any look; I’m already hitting the pan on my second one! Another favorite of mine is significantly cheaper than the first and blends like a dream, the Blush Crush Palette. Finding pinks that don’t look too heavy is pretty hard, but this palette is gorgeous and subtle making it perfect for minimal makeup looks! A bonus with this palette: You can use the matte shades as a blush for your nose!
Best Blushes
Blush brings color to your face making it look healthy even during these cold months! Adding a little to your nose and cheeks makes a difference on your skin. While choosing a blush, choose which colors flatter your skin tone. Deeper skin tones and berry or brick red blushes go hand in hand. For medium skin tones, peachy blush or deep pinks is perfect. Light pinks and peach blushes work best for those with fair skin tones. However, don’t be afraid to experiment with the colors though. It’s all about how you feel best. For deep skin tones, Fenty Beauty’s cream blush in, Summertime Wine looks gorgeous on the skin since it’s a berry tone with a subtle shimmer. L’Oreal’s blush in Apricot Kiss is one of my favorites since I have a medium skin tone. For fair skin, Benefit’s Dandelion Blush looks amazing as it’s super subtle and brightens the face.
Pink Pout
Finish your look with a pink pout! If you’re more of a dark lip enthusiast like me, one of my favorites is Kat Von D’s Lolita. It’s a gorgeous matte color that looks amazing on everyone. Another favorite is Revlon’s Lipstick in Cherries in the Snow. It’s creamy and feels super lightweight. For a super light pink, a favorite between my friends is Innisfree’s Lip Balm in Wedding Peach Tea. It’s super moisturizing and versatile that leaves you with a nice natural tint.
