Without a doubt, if I’m not studying or cooking or doing anything productive, I’m on TikTok. However, I tend to come across a few makeup hacks when scrolling on my For You Page. Below are some of the best tips and tricks I’ve learned while being on the app. I’ll be linking the TikTok video below each hack, enjoy!

Don’t Forget the Blush

Blush is sometimes all you need to finalize a look. It adds a pop of color to your face and gives you a healthy glow. While you might be used to smiling and applying blush to the apples of your cheeks, this TikTok hack calls for placing your middle and index finger together next to your nose. You then apply the blush next to your index finger in an upward motion. This trick will give the illusion of a lifted cheekbone, how stunning! 

The Best Brows

To achieve the cleanest, best-looking brows, it all begins with the brush. I myself use one of the thinnest eyebrow brushes ever to achieve a perfect lower brow line. I stole the brush from my mother back in middle school, it’s bound to fall apart anytime soon, and this TikTok tip is preparing me for it. To get a precise eyebrow brush, apply lash glue to the bristles and squeeze the brush to flatten it out. Flattening it out makes it easy to make small hair-like strokes and get defined brows, a total game-changer.

Peace Out Pimples

Although it’s best to leave pimples alone and avoid touching them, don’t let a pimple stop you from doing your makeup! This trick comes with three simple steps to cover the pesky pimple. First, you’re going to want to apply a concealer that is a bit lighter than your skin tone, blend it out, and make sure there are no harsh lines. You then go in with one that is your skin tone color and blend once again. I do this trick often, I’d suggest doing this before your foundation. Along with that, you’re going to want to opt for a pot concealer as it offers a bit more coverage. The final step would be to pat it in with some translucent powder. Make sure to cleanse your face well after!

No Surgery Needed

Give yourself a facelift without having to go through surgery! This super simple hack is similar to the first one will give you a subtle lift. You’re going to want to focus on the area once again, from the index finger to the side and up. Starting with concealer, place it below where a typical winged liner line would be. Below that line, add a line of contouring makeup. Below that, add a line of blush and blend upwards! Since they’re lines of product, blending is going to be critical to avoid having harsh lines. To change it up a bit, you can even add a little liquid highlighter between the concealer and contour lines.
