Best Cream Blushers
I normally don’t wear colorful makeup during the colder seasons, but now that Spring is on its way, I think it’s the perfect time to warm up my look with some pops of color. Blush is the best way to add a flush of color to your face and there are so many fun shades to choose from! My personal favorites are cream blushers because I find that they’re more hydrating and add some glow to my complexion.
The Glossier Cloud Paint was the first blusher I ever owned, and it is now a staple in my makeup bag! There are currently eight shades available, but my favorite is in the shade storm, which is a warm rose color. This blush has a gel-cream consistency that provides a dewy and healthy-looking complexion after application. It’s easy to blend so it leaves no streaks or uneven color. It’s also buildable, so you can make the color as sheer or as opaque as you want. Apart from wearing beautifully, it doesn’t fade easily even during the warmest days it stays put! Also, a little goes a long way, and there is enough product in a tube to last you a while.
Rom&nd See Through Melting Cheek
These melting cheek blushes are part of Rom&nd’s Hanbok collection and also served to introduce a new blush formulation for the brand. The Hanbok collection was launched in 2021 to celebrate Korean heritage. I find the packaging to be minimal yet beautiful, so it is something that I like to keep on display along with other products from this collection. It was released along with cushion foundations, eyeshadows, and matte and glossy lip tints. There are four blush shades: melting beige, melting coral, melting lavender, and melting ginger, which is like a red-brown shade. It starts off sheer but can build up to medium pigmentation. Unlike other products I’ve tried, this blush adheres smoothly to the skin without any stickiness. I also love how it comes with a mini puff which ensures an even application and makes it a perfect product for on the go!
I received a mini version of this product as a birthday present from Sephora, and I didn’t think I would like it at first because the formula looked a little stiffer than the other blushes I use, but I ended up loving it! It currently comes in eight shades that include different hues of orange, pinks, reds, and berries. The one I currently own is in the shade Werk, which is a dusty rose. It contains ingredients such as apricot oil, avocado oil, and mango butter, which serve to hydrate the skin. I love how it comes in stick form because it allows you more control upon application, and then you can just blend to your liking. Apart from blending seamlessly, it’s also super practical as it functions as both a blush and lip tint, making it a perfect multitasking product travel!
Love,
