Product Review: Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder

I’m always on the hunt for a good setting powder. I’ve stuck with Maybelline’s loose powder from the Fit Me collection for years! It’s one of those products that you try once and never want to give it up. However, I recently came across a popular powder and got it as a birthday gift! Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake Powder has hundreds of people raving about it. I had to give it a try!

First Impressions

Since I have the mini-size, I was impressed with how adorable the packaging was. However, I later found it to be a bit inconvenient because of the small powder applicator that’s in the container. I figured a way around it by putting some powder on a small mixing palette and dusting a little of it off back into its container. I also loved that this powder is very fine. I’ve had some powders before that were on the chunkier side and I wasn’t very fond of them.

Its Wear

On average, I wear my makeup for more than twelve hours and my usual powder keeps my makeup in place for about ten of those hours. The day I tested the powder, I was going to a concert but had gotten ready hours before since I was working a quick shift prior to going out. This was really going to put the powder to the test.

The Final Verdict

I’m not going to lie, this powder really impressed me! The venue was small and crowded and my makeup held up, even with a mask! There was surprisingly little to no makeup on the mask which usually doesn’t happen with my normal powder. I think this is a great powder to use for baking and sculpting the face rather than using it as an overall setting powder. I’m most likely going to be purchasing the full size once I’m done with the mini!

What are some of your favorite setting powders?

With love,

Michelle
