Product Review: Juvia’s Place Eyeshadow Palettes
This past year I didn’t get ready so often and I felt as if I had forgotten how to do my makeup. As I was cleaning my desk the other day I came across three palettes I got gifted a while back but have only used once. The colors are gorgeous and I decided to give them another try. I absolutely fell in love with them and now have the motivation to do my makeup more frequently.
The Palettes
The three palettes I’m giving the spotlight to are from Juvia’s Place. I have the Chocolate’s palette, the Berries palette, and Warrior II. My absolute favorite out of three would have to be the Chocolate but that is only because I only know how to use natural brown tones. The Berries palette is one I’m most excited to use on Valentine’s Day for a cute pink look. The Warrior II palette would be one that I’m going to use when I travel, it has colors I’m comfortable with, but also some I’m willing to experiment with.
Their Formulation
All of these palettes have one thing in common, amazing pigment. The color payoff on these shadows is so good for how much they cost. The shimmery colors are gorgeous and their formulation is so good because there was little to no fallout. However, I will say that some of the matte shades between all three of these palettes are a bit chalky. I won’t let it stop me from using it though, one of them was chalky to blend but looked great as a smokey liner.
In Essence
If you want a cute compact palette that won’t break the bank, I’d definitely look into these. They have a good variety of eyeshadow palettes that seem to be liked by the beauty community. Along with that, they’re one of the biggest Black-owned brands in the cosmetics industry!
With love,
Michelle
