Recently, I haven’t been in the mood to do my makeup. It’s like I fell out of love with sitting down and letting my brushes do their magic. However, something that never let me down was a highlighter. It adds the perfect glow to your face and makes you look healthy and awake, something crucial while being on Zoom all day. Here are my top three favorite highlighters! Let us know what your favorites are!
The Subtle Glow
The highlighter I adore for a subtle glow is Wet N Wild’s Megaglo Highlighter in precious petals. The packaging of this highlighter is gorgeous and super convenient as it’s relatively small. I’ve gone through various highlighters, and this is one I always go back to. Just a few taps on your cheekbones, nose, and cupid’s bow to make your skin look healthy. I suggest applying with your fingers as it makes it look more natural!
The Blinding Glow
When I have a full face of makeup, I tend to go for a more blinding highlighter. Your look can be super simple, and a glistening highlighter pulls it together. My go-to for a blinding highlighter is Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Amrezy Highlighter. Sadly, this product is discontinued, but click here for some easy-to-find dupes to enjoy this blinding glow! However, keep an eye out for it. There’s a chance they might bring it back! I got it during its second drop. I suggest applying this highlighter with a small fluffy brush and blending it in with a sponge to avoid it from looking patchy.
The Adaptable Glow
My third and final highlighter is one you can build up or tone down! The versatile highlighter in my collection is Kylie Jenner’s Kylighter in Queen Drip. As of now, it is in stock and on sale over at Ulta; grab it before it sells out! This stunning highlighter is peachy gold and pairs lovely with a nice pink blush. Since it’s versatile, you can apply it with whatever, whether it’s a brush or a sponge.
